We are past the half way point of this year, already!
So, how are the promises you made yourself in January going?
You know, those regular New Year’s resolutions…
“I’ll definitely get in shape this year.”
“I’ve got to get rid of this ugly gut this year.”
“I will finally start an exercise routine.”
“I’m 100% gonna start building some muscle. I’m sick of looking flabby and old.”
All honourable resolutions.
But the sad fact is, most people fail in succeeding with these goals.
In truth, according to Forbes…
“Every year more than 50% of people make New Year’s resolutions to lose weight, quit smoking, work out, save money, get a promotion etc. And yet, virtually every study tells us that around 80% of New Year’s resolutions will get abandoned around…January. In fact, one study found that gym sales dropped big time from January to February.” (Forbes)
How sad is that?
80% by January!
So, what percentage are still in the game by June?
Probably less than 5%.
When Covid forcing my gym to close, I also made a serious promise to myself to make a serious go at getting in shape from home.
And obviously, as a GTW Founding Member, I follow the exact routine that works.
And I’m proud to say that I’m in the 5% bracket of non-quitters!!
In fact, I haven’t worked out this hard since my Thai boxing days.
We’re at about Day 183 so far this year…
And out of those 183 odd days, I’ve only had 18 days of rest.
Some people might say this is overtraining. But it isn’t when you follow the correct rotation of body part training which GTW stands for.
More on that later…
That also leaves about 180 actual training days.
And out of those 180 days, I have trained twice per day on almost 50%.
Actually, 86 double training days.
End result?
Well, like I said, I haven’t trained this hard since my Thai boxing days.
So, while I’m almost 15 years older since those awesome fighting days, I’m just as fit.
Would I be ready to fight World Champion Thai boxers again?
Probably not. Because while I’m physically just as fit as those days…
I’m certainly not fighting fit. Ring rusty for sure.
That’s ok though. Different times. Different goals.
But this isn’t supposed to be about me.
This is about you…
And getting YOU in shape…
…All while not having to spend a dime of your hard-earned money on a gym membership…
…And not wasting any time getting to and from the gym.
This is why I strongly recommend you give The GTW Primer Level a trial run.
You’ve got nothing to lose.
If you give it a serious try for 9 days, and somehow think it’s not for you…
Then you can get a full refund.
However, by day 90 you’ll be in such great shape…
Changes that will probably shock you.
Your pants will feel loose for the first time in years…
…you’ll definitely drop at least one or two belt notches, even in your first 30 days…
You’ll definitely start to feel some iron growing in your abs…
In fact, you’ll feel every main muscle in your body that much tighter and firmer.
Put it this way, I think you’ll be nuts to ask for a refund after 90 days…
Because you’ll be well on the way to building an awesome body that you can be proud of.
Plus, everyone you know will start to see the differences in your ‘new’ body…
And their shock and surprise at how good you look will spur you on to keep working hard.
Would you like to give the Primer Level – Bodyweight Training For Men Over 40 a trial run?
Keep training hard (mentally & physically),
